Ideogramic UML™ Testimonials
"Easier to use; the gesture recognition is quite robust; the interface is aesthetically pleasing."
"The 'maya like' round menu is mutch more easy to use than the Rose UI
(Most ideogramic feature are accesible with one click, it is far from
beeing the case in Rose !)"
"If this (Ideogramic UML) was used with a digitizer tablet this application
would be nearly ideal for building diagrams."
"The ergonomic approach is both fun and efficient most of the time."
"As we have increased our use of object-oriented development, we have
found it natural to use the UML to create overview of complex problems
and as a shared communication language.
In our development work we use a range of tools (e.g. Rose, Together,
and Visio), but none of these support the creative ways of working
that are essential. In Ideogramic UML we have found just that. It is
easy to use and learn, and in combination with its support for
eBoards, it allows all members of the development team to contribute
and take part in the modelling. Thus the created diagrams become a
team product, and not a single persons interpretation. Furthermore, we
no longer loose good ideas and solutions behind on the
whiteboards. These qualities of Ideogramic UML thus contribute in
securing Cotas' high standards of quality."
"I've been testing out your UML diagramming product and am a big fan!
I plan on using it in my software design course at the University in
the fall. The gestures are quite robust and this tool is clearly much
easier to use than Visio."

"This is a very impressive accomplishment. Since I use the Palm
(Visor), I know a bit about gesture-based interfaces and their ease of
use. This tool should get the UML process off of desktops and into
design meetings where it belongs."
"For our software-oriented programs the UML is an important tool, that
is used to understand and model complex systems and that is used in
both undergraduate and postgraduate studies.
So far we have used Rhapsody from I-Logix and Microsoft
Visio. Rhapsody was used for analysis, design, code generation, and
simulation, which it handles well. But, Rhapsody is a very complex
tool and thus requires a large amount of training. This stimulated us
to try Microsoft Visio, but with Ideogramic UML we have found a much
better alternative that especially excels at early analysis and when
modelling smaller projects. We fell that we finally have found a tool
where the students can get started on the actually modelling
fast. Furthermore, the unique support for electronic whiteboards makes
the tool excellent for group work and for teaching."
